Men's Hall of Fame

Eustaquio Amador, Jr., better known as E. Toyo Amador, has been a member in good standing of the Seguin Pan American Golf Association since November 1976. Inducted into the National Pan American Golf Association Hall of Fame at the 2004 convention in San Antonio, Texas, he has contributed decades of leadership and service at both the chapter and national levels.

Toyo served five terms as Seguin PAGA President and multiple terms as Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He chaired Seguin’s 1987 National PAGA Winter Meeting and Tournament and co-chaired the 1993 NPAGA Senior Legends Tournament, the 2001 NPAGA Seniors Tournament, the 2010 NPAGA Third Delegates Meeting, Workshop and Tournament, and the NPAGA Winter Meetings and Tournaments hosted in Seguin in 2012 and 2024.

His national leadership began with his election as NPAGA Secretary at the 1989 Houston convention. He was elected Vice President in 1991 in Austin and President in 1993 in Oklahoma City. He returned as Vice President in 2005 in Irving and President in 2007 in Fort Worth. He was again elected Vice President in 2015 in Fort Worth and reelected in 2018 in Dallas.

During his 2008–2009 presidential term, Toyo worked with fellow national officers, delegates, and volunteers to strengthen the Third Delegates Meeting and Workshop tradition and advance several organizational improvements. These included increasing per capita dues from $7 to $11, modifying the Men’s Hall of Fame Rules and Guidelines, establishing Women’s Hall of Fame Rules and Guidelines, introducing new senior guidelines, advancing a membership growth and education project, establishing a uniform National PAGA ring for all flight champions, and creating a new Tournament and Convention Rotation List.

An accomplished golfer, Toyo scored a hole-in-one in September 1983 on Hole 13, a 191-yard par 3 at Starcke Park Golf Course in Seguin, Texas. His golf achievements also include numerous trophies and plaques, Quad City Team Traveling Trophies, and victories in individual flighted tournaments.

Toyo and his wife, Cynthia Bueno Amador, have been married for 53 years. They have three sons: the late Eric Amador; Ryan Amador, who is married to Becky; and Brandon Amador, who is married to Amanda. His years of service and participation reflect a lasting commitment to the Seguin chapter, the National PAGA, and the game of golf.
